At $200 a night, I would expect to have a working fireplace. Instead, cold air was rushing through the fresh air intake because it was broken...on a night when it was -27 C! We were told to just use the extra blankets to cover the vent.

This is a review for the Solstice Spa. My wife and I booked 1hr massages with a registered massage therapist at the Solstice Spa. When booking any treatment it gives full access for the day to the rest of the spa. We took full advantage of the spa access and spent the better part of 6 hours there on new year's eve. The massages although expensive are worth the premium for the extras that come with it. We enjoyed the steam room and jet showers in the seperate change rooms, then enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, mineral pool, and loungers together. They also have reshreshments and fruit/muffins available at no extra charge throughout the day. My one complaint would be the hot tub is way to small. It comfortably fits 2 with seats for four but it's pretty cozy. They really do need to rethink the hot tub. The pool and loungers were wonderful. We will definitely be back.

With the bathroom fan on, you could smell the smoke from the fireplace. The pull out bed on the couch was unusable. Pink mould, broken tiles and a broken toilet paper holder were some of the highlights in the washroom.

I highly recommend an hour massage well worth every penny 5/5. Also had a manicure if you already have a overlay or shellac I'd recommend it be removed prior to your appt as it a service they do not specialize in. I called in advance to let them know and was told it wasn't an issue but during my treatment I was told she would have cancelled my appt if she knew. Wasn't a great start to my first experience with their spa. Thank God the massage was great.

Well around hotel in a beautiful nation park with a full service restaurant and spa. The pool and water play area is quite nice and is great for kids. At front desk you can rent snow equipments and some are free. One note is the spa therapist is not registered so it's not qualified for workplace benefits claim.

The breakfast was amazing but not included in the room price.

I would love to give a better review - the location is stunning. Great extra activities (at extra costs) are available.

Rooms were dated, and many comfort measures could be improved (I.e. bathrobes would be a good addition, hairdryer was ancient, only two coffee pods for two people, impossible to adjust wall heating unit that made the room so dry). The ambience could also have been played up more - view of horses at the stable, fireplace, and private balcony could have led to a more rustic theme. Pool area was fun, indoor and outdoor hot tub with adult only swim after 1030pm. Bed was extremely comfortable. Food options here are really expensive, and not that good. Unfortunately in winter there is next to nothing to eat off resort either. Bring your own food? There is a fridge and microwave in the hotel rooms.
